I’ve been around weddings since I was a three-year-old flower girl in my uncle’s wedding. At 19 I was a bridesmaid consultant at Catan’s Bridal, and I’ve since hosted and produced wedding shows and podcasts. I’ve been a bridesmaid a handful of times and have been lucky enough to celebrate a LOT of family and friends on their big day. And once upon a time, I planned my own wedding too.

So here’s my honest take: most bridal shows feel like speed dating under fluorescent lights. You walk laps past folding tables, collect a tote bag full of business cards, and go home with no idea what your day will actually feel like.

Seasons of Love is not that.

Hosted by The Elliot in Ohio City, Seasons of Love is a boutique wedding planning experience that walks you through every part of a wedding, room by room. Each space is designed by hand-selected vendors, so it feels like stepping into living, breathing mood boards. You can taste the food, sip the cocktails, see the florals, and meet the people behind them, all in one afternoon.

And yes, there are bottomless mimosas.

Why I said yes

This isn’t my first Seasons of Love. In 2025, I went with my partner Dave just to experience it. This year, I was back with Bridechilla, interviewing couples and vendors throughout the day. Both times, I watched couples go from “where do we even start?” to “okay, THIS is our vibe.” That’s rare.

So when the chance came to partner with The Elliot on content for Seasons of Love, I didn’t have to think long about it. I don’t put my name on things I don’t believe in. Stephanie and her team aren’t just throwing another bridal show. They’re building an experience that’s thoughtful, fun, and actually useful for couples, whether you’re newly engaged or so far into planning you just want an excuse to eat cake.

Ticket options:

• VIP ($40, 11 AM to 4 PM): An exclusive first hour before general admission, a VIP gift bag, a branded gift from The Elliot, and entry into the VIP giveaway. VIP is intentionally limited to keep that first hour intimate.
• Early Lovebird General Admission ($20, 12 to 4 PM): Full access to all experiences, tastings, and entertainment. Gift bag guaranteed for the first 150 tickets purchased.
• General Admission ($25, 12 to 4 PM): Same access, same gift bag guarantee for the first 150.
• At the Door ($30, 12 to 4 PM): Full access, but gift bags aren’t guaranteed.

My advice? If you want the gift bag, don’t wait.

Getting there

Free parking is available in the lot next to The Elliot and at Grace Hospital (2307 W 14th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113), with complimentary shuttle service from Mr. Formal Transportation.

Accessibility: The Elliot has a wheelchair lift with ground-level access on the east side of the building, plus three ADA-compliant restrooms. The lift reaches the lobby and The Rosehip Room. Staff are happy to help.
